Rain with Thunder in Karachi from Today

Islamabad: Rain with thunder and lightning is predicted in Karachi from today (Saturday) till April 15, weather sources said. 

According to weather analyst Jawad Memon, there is a possibility of rain in Karachi for the next 6 to 7 days due to the influence of a western system.

Thundershowers are likely from today (Saturday) until April 15 under the influence of the first system.

Memon predicts light to moderate rain during this time, with wind accompanying it. The city may receive 5 to 15 mm of rain during this period.

Thunderclouds may form in the outskirts of the city in the afternoon or evening today, with rain expected today and on April 14. This precipitation may continue intermittently until the morning of April 15.

Memon anticipates the second wave of western winds to enter on April 17. Under the influence of this system, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan, including Karachi.

Additionally, thunder cells may form in the suburbs from April 17 onwards, with a chance of thundershowers in Karachi on April 18 and 19.
