Rain-wind-thunderstorm expected in parts of Pakistan

Rain-wind-thunderstorms are expected in north Balochistan, central Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), dust-raising gusty winds are likely in upper Sindh.

However, partly cloudy weather is expected in most western and upper parts of the country during the last 24 hours.

 During the past 24 hours, the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, the rain was recorded in Khuzdar 5mm and Parachinar 2 mm.

Today’s highest maximum temperature in Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana 45, Mohenjodharo and Jacobabad 44.

 According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country and is likely to persist in upper parts till Wednesday.
