Rain Washes Out Qalandars vs Gladiators Clash

Islamabad: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore was called off due to heavy rain and strong winds.
As per the Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision, both teams were awarded one point each. Earlier in the day, Quetta Gladiators had won the toss and opted to field first.
Lahore Qalandars had a strong start with the bat, reaching 111 runs for the loss of three wickets in 11.3 overs before the match was interrupted. Mohammad Naeem and Abdullah Shafique both registered half-centuries. For Quetta Gladiators, Abrar Ahmed claimed two wickets while Khurram Shahzad picked up one.
Toss Update
In the 21st match of the tenth edition of the PSL, Quetta Gladiators chose to bowl first after winning the toss against Lahore Qalandars on Thursday at the Gaddafi Stadium.
The Qalandars were hoping to build on their momentum following a morale-boosting victory that ended Islamabad United’s winning streak.
