Rain-Thunderstorm For Sindh, Partly Cloudy Weather For KP

Peshawar/Karachi: The Provincial Meteorological Center (PMC) and Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast partly cloudy weather for most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and rain with thunderstorms in most parts of the Sindh province, respectively, during the next 24 hours.

PMC said that there are chances of an isolated rain-thunderstorm and gusty winds occurring over Swat, Chitral, the Lower and Upper Dir, and Shangla. Rain with thunderstorm is also predicted in Buner, Malakand, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mohmand, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Khyber, Orakzai, Hangu, Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, North & South Waziristan, Tank, and D I Khan districts.

Across the majority of the Gilgit Baltistan region, mostly cloudy weather is predicted, with light rain expected in mountainous places of the region. The National Agromet Center has also recommended farmers to begin harvesting and sowing crops while taking temperature and climate variations into consideration.

PMD stated that rain with wind and thunderstorm is likely to occur in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Shaheed Benazirbabad, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Tharparkar and Dadu.
