Rain & Snowfall Continues On Kaghan, Naran Hills

Kaghan: There has been considerable rain and snowfall in the Kaghan and Naran hills since last week, and the glacier has again blocked the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad (MNJ) Road.

Details indicate that during the current period of rain and snowfall, Babusar Top, Kaghan and Naran valleys have had temperatures below zero and up to 10 inches of snow have fallen on the hills, while other areas have experienced nonstop heavy rain.

The recently opened MNJ route is currently closed once more because of glacial landslides close to Kaghan. Other than Shogran Road, many other connecting roads in Tehsil Balakot were closed yesterday due to landslides.

Similarly, other areas of Hazara Division, especially Abbottabad, Battgram, and Kohistan, are also facing problems with floods and landslides.
