Rain Lowers Lahore’s Temp, More Showers Expected

Lahore: The provincial capital on Monday received precipitation which improved the weather and reduced the high temperature to 22°C.

The city has experienced precipitation in the form of drizzle, showers, and heavy rain for the fifth day in a row.

The first spell of showers occurred in the early morning and the second in the afternoon, while Laxmi Chowk, Iqbal Town, Jail Road, the airport, Tajpura, Gulshan-e-Ravi, and other areas also received showers, with the most rain recorded at Johar Town at 10 millimetres.

The Met Office said that more rain, wind, and thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are likely to occur during the next 24 hours in Khushab, Mianwali, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib.
