Rain Lashes Bahawalpur Region

Bahawalpur:  Moderate to heavy rain lashed Bahawalpur and its surrounding areas, turning the weather pleasant on Thursday.

According to the local Met office, the downpour, which began on Wednesday night, affected several areas, including Khairpur, Tamewali, Hasilpur, Yazman, Lal Suhanra, Dera Bakha, Sama Satta, and others. Heavy showers were also reported in the Cholistan desert.

Meanwhile, the Met office forecasted cloudy weather throughout the day, with more rain expected in the region over the next 48 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 24°C and 12°C, respectively.

Heavy Rain Hits Chiniot, Cold Wave Returns

Like the rest of Pakistan, Chiniot also received heavy rain with the arrival of spring, bringing back a cold wave.

The downpour caused waterlogging in many streets and roads across the city. However, the district administration promptly took action to ensure timely drainage, clearing water from all major roads.

Residents appreciated the efforts of the district administration in managing the situation effectively.
