Rain Expected in Suburbs of Karachi

Islamabad: Karachi Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has forecast the possibility of rain in Karachi’s suburbs on June 22 or 23, specifically around the Superhighway area. 

He also mentioned that the monsoon season is expected to begin in Punjab and Kashmir around June 29 or 30, and in Sindh after July 5 or 6.

 Additionally, Sarfaraz predicts higher than normal rainfall in Sindh, including Karachi, this year.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has indicated that Karachi’s weather will likely remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours.

Sea breezes are expected to halt in the city today (Friday), with a partly cloudy forecast and a chance of drizzle in some areas.

The maximum temperature in Karachi is anticipated to be between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius, with humidity recorded at 49 percent.
