Rain Expected In Bahawalpur

Islamabad/Bahawalpur: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. Meanwhile, the local Met Office Thursday predicted a partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of light rain for Bahawalpur for next 24 hours.

However, rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snow over mountains) is likely in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and northeast Punjab. Isolated hailstorm may also occur during the period.

Fog/smog is likely to occur in few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Karachi were 29°C and 19°Cduring the last 24 hours. Partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of light rain has also been forecast for rest of the region.
