Rabi Pirzada Opens Up About Marriage, Divorce

Islamabad: Former actress and singer Rabi Pirzada has, for the first time, publicly shared details about her marriage and subsequent divorce, revealing that she got married under parental pressure.

In a recent interview, Rabi candidly discussed her personal life alongside her ongoing social work. Addressing questions about her marital history, she disclosed that she sought ‘khula’ due to unresolved issues in her marriage, marking her first public acknowledgment of the divorce.

“My marriage was a ‘watta satta’ (exchange marriage). I regret agreeing to it under my parents’ pressure,” Rabi said, reflecting on the challenges that led her to end the union.
