Rabi Pirzada Files FIR Over Harassment Incident in Defence

Karachi: Karachi police have registered a case after singer and former actress Rabi Pirzada was allegedly harassed in Karachi’s Defence area, officials said on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident took place in Defence Phase 7, where a suspect driving a car reportedly harassed Pirzada and her driver. The suspect allegedly used abusive language and physical force, and assaulted the driver when he attempted to intervene.
Following the incident, police registered a First Information Report (FIR) with Pirzada as the complainant. The suspect has since been arrested, and further investigations are underway.
Police officials said legal proceedings will continue in accordance with the law.

Former actress and singer Rabi Pirzada has, for the first time, publicly shared details about her marriage and divorce, revealing that she married under parental pressure and later sought khula due to unresolved issues.
In a recent interview, Pirzada spoke candidly about her personal life while discussing her ongoing social work. Addressing questions about her marital status, she said that she had never previously spoken publicly about taking khula.
“My marriage was a watta satta (exchange marriage). I regret accepting my parents’ pressure for that marriage,” she said.
Pirzada explained that the difficulties she faced during her married life left her with no option but to end the marriage. Reflecting on her past, she described agreeing to the marriage as one of her major life regrets.
When asked about the possibility of remarrying, Pirzada said she remains open to marriage in the future.
