Quake Jolts Pakistan: No Casualties Reported

Islamabad: An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale struck Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces, as well as the Gilgit-Baltistan region on Thursday.
Tremors were felt in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Swat, Bajaur, Upper Dir, Abbottabad, Mardan, and other cities.
The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be at the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, approximately 55 kilometers from Chitral.
Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported a magnitude of 5.3 for the earthquake, with its epicenter located at a depth of 86 kilometers.
As of now, there have been no reports of loss of life or damage to property.
