QAU Ranked Among World’s Top 400 Universities for 2025

Islamabad: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) has once again solidified its position as Pakistan’s leading educational institution, securing a spot among the top 400 universities worldwide in the prestigious 2025 Times World University Ranking.
In addition to its impressive ranking in the Times World University Rankings, QAU also achieved the 315th position in the global QS World University Rankings, reaffirming its status as the top university in Pakistan.
Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of QAU, expressed his heartfelt congratulations on this significant accomplishment, attributing the success to the dedication and excellence of the university’s faculty, students, staff, alumni, and ranking committee.
Despite facing financial challenges, QAU continues to climb higher in global rankings year after year.
Dr Niaz emphasized the importance of specialized resources and funding from the government and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to support the growth of Pakistan’s top academic institutions.
QAU’s consistent excellence across multiple prestigious rankings, including the Times World Ranking, QS Ranking, and US News and World Ranking, highlights its role as a beacon of academic brilliance.
National Coordinator of the Inter-University Consortium and Executive Director of the Association of Private Sector Universities, who is also a QAU alumnus, congratulated the entire QAU community.
He added that with the necessary financial support, QAU can continue to bring more accolades to Pakistan.
