Lahore: Since its launch in August 2022, the Punjab Job Center, an initiative by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Labor & Human Resource Department (L&HRD), has registered over 800,000 job seekers and more than 86,000 employers.

This progress was highlighted during a review meeting chaired by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf on Monday.

The online job portal, accessible at jobcentre.punjab.gov.pk, serves as a comprehensive database that includes human capital from both the public and private sectors.

It accommodates skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled individuals, providing a dynamic platform for job seekers and employers.

The portal is designed to bridge the gap between employment exchange agencies, promoters, workers, and job seekers, addressing the diverse needs of the job market.

Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized that the Punjab Job Center is a significant step toward modernizing the job market and making it more accessible for everyone.

“By bringing job seekers and employers onto a unified platform, we are not only reducing the barriers to employment but also ensuring that the right talent meets the right opportunity,” he added.

Candidates can register by sending their national ID card number via SMS to 8,900 or through WhatsApp to 0310-8148900.

The Punjab Job Center is committed to more than just registration; it actively maintains a robust database of available human resources across Punjab.
