News Desk
Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather across most parts of the country on Saturday, with cold conditions likely to prevail in hilly regions during morning and night hours.
According to the Met Office, the ongoing dry spell coupled with rising atmospheric pollution is expected to keep several districts of Punjab under the influence of smog. Citizens have been urged to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from potential health hazards.
In the federal capital and adjoining areas, the weather will remain dry with slightly cold mornings and nights. Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience dry weather, while hilly regions will remain chilly during early and late hours.
In Punjab, dry conditions will continue in most parts, including Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding hill stations. However, smog or fog is likely to persist in Lahore, Gujranwala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, and nearby regions.
