PSX Witnesses Bullish Trend, Gains 366 Points

Islamabad: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a bullish trend today as the benchmark 100-Index gained 366.32 points, representing a 0.40% increase, closing at 92,304.32 points compared to 91,938.01 points on the previous trading day.

A trading volume of 752,664,527 shares was recorded, up from 589,546,678 shares the prior day. The market value of these shares was Rs 32.827 billion, rising from Rs.29.959 billion.

A total of 452 companies traded today, with 223 companies recording gains, 169 experiencing losses, and 60 remaining unchanged. The top trading companies included Power Cement, Sui South Gas, and Fauji Foods Limited.

Indus Motor Company Limited and Sazgar Engineering Works Limited recorded the highest share price increases, while Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited and Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited saw the largest declines.
