PSX 100 Index Up 862 Points

Islamabad: In the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the 100 index showed strong performance today, gaining over 1000 points. However, the record high of 73,300 points remains unbroken.

The benchmark 100 index closed at 72,764, marking an increase of 862 points by the end of trading.

During the trading session, the 100 index reached an intraday high of 73,600 points. The trading activity was notable, with 57 crore shares exchanged, valued at 24.5 billion rupees.

The market capitalization saw a significant uptick, rising by 90 billion rupees, reaching a total of 9,886 billion rupees. Despite today’s gains, the market is still striving to surpass the previous record high.
