PSX 100 Index Soared to New Heights Today

Islamabad: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100 Index soared to new heights in today’s trading session, achieving two remarkable milestones.

The PSX benchmark 100 index surged to an unprecedented high of 74,114 points during the trading day, capping off the session with a record close of 73,799 points.

By the end of the trading session, the 100 index witnessed a substantial increase of 713 points, reflecting positive market sentiment and investor confidence.

Trading activity was robust, with shares worth over 7.2 billion shares exchanged, amounting to a total value exceeding Rs 2.5 trillion.

Furthermore, market capitalization witnessed a notable uptick, rising by Rs 80 billion to reach Rs 9.958 trillion, underscoring the buoyancy of Pakistan’s stock market.
