Project to grow plants with multiple fruits choices launched in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: The district administration Muzaffargarh has launched a unique project titled “Maiwa Jungle” in line with Japanese technique carrying plants nurtured with multiple choices of fruits at the same time at one place.
Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Ali Anan Qamar on Thursday inaugurated the project.
The project is being termed as a brainchild of the Punjab secretary education and it was launched at Government Comprehensive School, Muzaffargarh on Thursday.
On the occasion, DC Ali Anan Qamar said under the said technique plants grew up rapidly and in an improved form. He said “Maiwa Jungle” would play an important role in controlling the current spree of weather change.
The DC said one of the major causes of destruction in Sindh and Balochistan was a reduction of jungles. It’s high time to streamline our efforts to bring about a better future for our country, DC Qamar said.
