Islamabad: Prince William is reportedly leaning on his stepmother, Queen Camilla, amidst the Royal Family’s cancer crisis.

The Prince of Wales, who is currently supporting his wife, Kate Middleton, through chemotherapy after her cancer diagnosis, is finding solace in Queen Camilla, who is also assisting King Charles through his cancer battle. Royal expert Jennie Bond shared with OK Magazine: “Recent events have evidently brought William and Camilla closer together. They are now essentially holding the fort while the King and the Princess focus on their recovery. Their teams will likely collaborate more closely to manage schedules and fulfill engagements, with Camilla and William undoubtedly maintaining regular communication.”

“During his youth, William grappled with accepting Camilla as a presence in his father’s life, given the complexities stemming from his mother’s unhappiness in her marriage. However, as he matured, he came to understand that Camilla brings immense happiness to his father… and he now recognizes her as the love of his father’s life,” Bond adds.

Prince William and Kate are proud parents to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The couple exchanged vows in 2011 at Westminster Abbey following a decade-long courtship. In September 2023, they were honored with the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
