Primary School Teacher Tortured and Killed in Swabi

Swabi: A primary school teacher was brutally tortured and murdered with an excavation tool in the Moza Khaldo area of Swabi on Saturday.

The victim, 30-year-old Hassan Faraz, had gone out from his home in Shabgai Muhalla and failed to return, prompting his father, Faqir Sher, to file a report with Chota Lahore police. Sher also mentioned that his son’s phone was switched off.

After searching the area, information was received that Hassan’s body was found in a field in Khaldo. Upon arrival, Sher confirmed that his son had been severely tortured and left lifeless.

He also stated that the family had no known enemies and could not identify the perpetrators of the brutal killing.

Chota Lahore police have registered a case against the unknown killers and initiated an investigation.

Woman Hospitalized After Acid Assault

A woman was severely burned after her husband threw acid on her during a domestic dispute in Chak No. 04, Dera Bakha, on Saturday.

According to a police spokesperson, a heated argument between the couple escalated when Munir, the husband, threw acid on his wife, Sughran Bibi, in a fit of rage.

Sughran sustained serious burn injuries and was rushed to Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) for treatment.

The police are investigating the case, and further inquiries are underway.
