PP-9 Rawalpindi III to Witness 21 Candidates vying for Victory

Rawalpindi: As many as 21 candidates, with 14 running independently, are gearing up for the general elections scheduled for February 8 in the PP-9 Rawalpindi III constituency.
The constituency boasts 327,174 registered voters, comprising 168,246 male voters and 158,928 female voters, who will exercise their right to vote.
According to the details, the district administration has completed all necessary preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the general elections in a peaceful environment.
Additionally, the Gujar Khan district administration has concluded administrative measures, including security arrangements, to uphold law and order throughout the polling process.
For the PP-9 Rawalpindi III constituency, a comprehensive setup of 272 polling stations is planned, evenly divided into 80 for male voters, 80 for female voters, and 112 combined stations. The constituency will feature a total of 695 booths.
The polling scheme for PP-9 involves the deployment of 272 presiding officers, 695 assistant presiding officers, and 967 additional polling staff.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, Hassan Waqar Chima, has issued directives to ensure stringent monitoring of the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) code of conduct, underscoring the commitment of the district administration to uphold electoral integrity.
