Positive Signs as Dengue Cases Dip

Lahore: Punjab witnesses a decline in dengue cases, reporting 42 new instances on Saturday, marking a positive trend in the region.

According to the latest health department data, there have been a total of 14,763 confirmed dengue cases across 36 districts in Punjab this year. Among these, Lahore leads with 6,782 cases, followed by Rawalpindi with 2,649, Gujranwala with 1,563, Multan with 1,417, and Faisalabad with 883 cases.

In the last 24 hours, Lahore recorded an additional 26 cases, while Rawalpindi reported one, Gujranwala reported four, and Multan reported four cases. Additionally, Pakpattan and Jehlum each reported one case of dengue during this period.

Currently, 51 dengue patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals across Punjab, with 28 of them in Lahore district hospitals.
