Bannu: Police have launched an investigation after a disturbing video showing the brutal assault of a minor girl in Domail tehsil went viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage.
According to initial reports, the incident took place in the Zairki area where a group of armed men allegedly abducted the girl and subjected her to severe physical violence. The suspects also recorded the assault and later circulated the footage online.

Officials said the attackers accused the girl of wearing boys’ clothing and spending time with a boy. The viral video reportedly shows the assailants beating the victim while warning her not to be seen with boys again.
In the footage, the suspects can also be heard threatening the girl and telling her she must not leave her home in the future.
Police said they are examining all aspects of the case, including the authenticity of the video and the identities of those involved. Authorities added that efforts are underway to identify and arrest the suspects responsible for the assault.
The incident has raised serious concerns over violence against minors and the circulation of abusive content on social media, with officials vowing to take strict action once the investigation is completed.
