The spokesperson highlighted the significant impact of thick fog on road traffic across various cities in Punjab and KP. They emphasized that repeated requests have been made through various media platforms, urging people to stay home and refrain from non-essential travel.

With motorway closures contributing to increased urban traffic, the spokesperson instructed traffic officers to utilize reflectors and flasher lights as guidance indicators for drivers. It was stressed that during foggy conditions, overtaking other vehicles becomes risky due to poor visibility and difficulty in judging distances.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance for motorists to attentively heed awareness messages disseminated by the police through social media to navigate safely during adverse weather conditions.
