Police Bust Street Crime Gang, Two Arrested

Rawalpindi: The district police claimed to have dismantled a street criminal gang by arresting two key members of the notorious ‘Naeem gang’, who were allegedly involved in multiple street crimes. The Race Course police apprehended Naeem, the gang’s ringleader, along with his accomplice Shehzad.

During the arrest, authorities recovered Rs 70,000 in cash, mobile phones, weapons and other stolen items from the suspects’ possession.

A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are ongoing. The suspects are being transferred to jail for an identification parade.Superintendent of Police (Potohar) stated that police efforts are underway to apprehend other members of the gang still at large.
