Police Arrest Alleged Murder Within Six Hours

Mansehra:  Saddar Police Station in Mansehra swiftly apprehended the suspects involved in a double murder and abduction case within six hours and successfully rescued the kidnapped victim.

The incident began when police were informed about the murder of Tariq Mahmood and his son from Thakrah, and the abduction of his daughter near the Post Office on the Hazara Motorway.

In response, DPO Manshera Shafiullah Gandapur directed the SHO and staff at Saddar Police Station to take immediate action. Following these orders, the police arrested the primary suspects, Shoaib and Asif, and rescued the kidnapped victim within just six hours.

Shoaib, a close friend of the deceased Tariq Mahmood, had met Tariq and his family near the Hazara Motorway and insisted on taking Tariq’s daughter with him. An argument ensued, during which Shoaib fired indiscriminately at Tariq’s vehicle, killing Tariq on the spot and injuring other family members. Shoaib then abducted Tariq’s son, Zain.

Upon receiving the report, the police quickly launched a search operation, recovering Zain’s body and arresting Shoaib and his accomplice Asif within six hours.
