Police Apprehend Brother in ‘Honor Killing’ Case

Muzaffargarh: A tragic incident unfolded in the Katcha area within the jurisdiction of the Khair Pur Sadat police station, where a brother allegedly opened fire, resulting in the death of his sister in the name of honor.

The police spokesperson reported that Saleem, a resident of ShahPur Katcha area, held suspicions about his sister’s alleged illicit relationship, prompting him to commit the heinous act before fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement swiftly responded by transferring the victim’s body to the tehsil headquarters hospital in Ali Pur and initiating legal proceedings against the suspect. The diligent efforts of SHO Khair Pur Sadat Imran Khan Gopang led to the prompt arrest of the suspect, Muhammad Saleem, who perpetrated this tragic crime against his own sister, utilizing modern technology.
