PNCA Hosts Captivating Theatre Extravaganza

Islamabad: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in collaboration with Ajoka Theatre, will host a three-day Theatre Extravaganza from June 25-27, captivating art enthusiasts with vibrant performances.
This event aims to foster healthy theatrical activities for residents of the federal capital and surrounding areas, offering a platform to enjoy thought-provoking ideas and touching messages.
According to the PNCA’s announced schedule, the festival will kick off on June 25 with Ajoka’s acclaimed production “Teesri Dastak – The Wretched of the Earth Fight Back,” written by Executive Director Shahid Nadeem. Set in a dilapidated urban slum, the play highlights the resilience of the marginalized who, despite endless betrayals and setbacks, cling to their dreams of a free and just world.
On June 26, the play “Bulha – Story of Bulleh Shah’s Dramatic Spiritual Journey” will be presented, followed by Shahid Nadeem’s international masterpiece “Dara” on June 27.
