PMD Predicts Hot, Humid Weather In Country’s Plain Areas

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts mainly hot and humid weather is expected in plain areas of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country, according to Met Office.
PMD states that partly cloudy with chances of rain at night or morning is expected in Karachi over the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Karachi were 33°C and 26°C, respectively, during the last 24 hours.
