PMD Forecasts Widespread Rains In Punjab Till July 31

Lahore: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted widespread monsoon rains across country from July 28 to July 31 with occasional gaps.
As per the PMD report on Sunday, Strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea penetrate the upper parts of Pakistan. They will likely penetrate central and southern parts from July 29.
The office further predicted that under the influence of this weather system, widespread monsoon rains are predicted in the country till July 31 with occasional gaps.
In Punjab rains and gusty winds with few heavy falls are likely in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Mianwali from July 28 to July 31 with occasional gaps.
Rain-wind/thundershowers are also likely in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Khanewal, Lohdran, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan and Layyah from July 29 to July 31 with occasional gaps.
