PMD Forecasts Very Cold Weather In Parts of Pakistan

Islamabad: The majority of the country is expected to have cold, dry weather, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). During this time, it’s going to be extremely chilly in the upper parts, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
A few plain parts of Punjab are expected to experience fog. The synoptic condition indicated that continental air predominated in most parts of the country.
Over the past 24 hours, there have been sporadic instances of rain with snow over hills in Kashmir. PMD stated the weather was cold and dryin other parts of the country.
The rainfall recorded in Kashmir: Garhidupatta 05mm and Muzaffarabad 03mm.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded in centigrade during the period are as follows:
Kalam -17 C, Leh -13, Kalat -11, Chitral -09, Quetta -08, Astore, Gupis, Parachinar -07, Bagrote, Dalbandin, Dir and Malam Jabba -05 C.
