PMD Forecasts Moderate Rain & snowfall Over Hills For Most KP

Peshawar: The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) Peshawar issued a 24-hour rain and snow forecast over the hills in Chitral, Lower & Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra and Abbottabad districts.
Mild to moderate rain and light snowfall over the hills is also predicted over Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Hangu, Kurram, Karak, Kohat, LakkiMarwat, Bannu, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, North & South Waziristan districts.
During night hours, shallow to moderate fog is also anticipated over Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan districts, as well as over Peshawar to Swabi motorway; as per RMC.
The Center suggested taking safety precautions and avoiding needless travel when using national highways and motorways. Most districtsof the province saw very cold, partly cloudy, and foggy weather throughout the past 24 hours.
Rain with snowfall over hills is recorded in Swat, Malakand, Hazara, Abbottabad, Kohistan and Kurram districts.
