PMC Forecasts Hot, Dry Weather To Prevail In Most KP

Peshawar/Bahawalpur: The Provincial Meteorological Centre (PMC) Peshawar predicted on Wednesday that hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, while it is very hot in some planned areas. Meanwhile, the local Met Office has forecast dry to partly cloudy weather for Bahawalpur during the next 24 hours.

However, it said that cloudy weather with chances of isolated rain, wind, or thunderstorms is likely to occur over Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Swat, Buner, Khyber, and Kurram districts in the evening and night.

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained hot and dry over most districts of the province while becoming very hot over southern districts. Rain recorded (in mm): Nil

The highest temperature recorded in the province was 40°Ceach in Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu. 

Partly cloudy weather forecast for Bahawalpur

 

The highest maximum temperature 38°Cand the lowest minimum 28°Cwere recorded during the last 24 hours. The dry to partly cloudy weather has also been forecast for the rest of the region.
