PM Shehbaz Embarks on One-Day Official Visit to UAE

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday departed for a one-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The prime minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit aims to bolster Pakistan-UAE bilateral ties, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, and energy. The leaders are also expected to exchange views on regional developments and matters of mutual interest.

During his stay, PM Shehbaz is scheduled to hold a series of important meetings with the UAE leadership to explore avenues for deepening strategic and economic collaboration between the two countries.
