PM Sharif Holds Key Talks with Saudi Crown Prince

Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for a short but significant visit expected to focus on regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the premier will hold a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his brief stay before returning to Pakistan later the same day.

The prime minister was received at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport by the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Riyadh Ahmed Farooq and other diplomatic officials were also present at the airport to welcome him.
Officials said the meeting between Sharif and the Saudi crown prince will include detailed discussions on the evolving regional situation, security challenges and ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the visit reflects Pakistan’s active diplomatic engagement and highlights its intention to play a constructive role in addressing regional challenges through dialogue and cooperation.
Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan shortly after completing the talks.
