PM Lauds Security Forces for Successful Jaffar Express Operation

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Army and security forces on Wednesday for the successful completion of the Jaffar Express operation, which resulted in the rescue of hostages.
He commended the professionalism and expertise of the security forces, attributing the operation’s success to the dynamic leadership of the Army Chief. The operation was carried out with exceptional skill and resulted in minimal casualties.
The prime minister is scheduled to visit Balochistan on Thursday to show solidarity with the local population and assess the security situation. During his visit, he will also chair a meeting to review law and order conditions, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
In his statement, the prime minister praised the bravery and courage of the soldiers and officers involved in the operation, highlighting their role in eliminating 33 terrorists. He expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of security personnel and train passengers, offering prayers for the martyrs and strength for their families.
“The perpetrators of such attacks on innocent civilians have no affiliation with Islam or this country,” the prime minister said, emphasizing that the fight against terrorism would continue relentlessly until terrorism is completely eradicated from Pakistan.
