Pindi’s Development Projects Will Involve Business Community: Commissioner

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s (RCCI) proposals and the business community’s suggestions would be incorporated into the city’s development, beautification, and other projects, said Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqat Ali Chatha.
While addressing the business community at the RCCI, Liaqat Ali stated that the business community would be given representation in the price control and other committees for public welfare.
He told that the Ring Road and Katcheri Chowk project’s work would be sped up in order to finish it as soon as possible. The Rawalpindi Gymkhana will be transformed into a model club, and parking and traffic issues would be resolved with the help of the local business community.
The Commissioner further stated that encouraging economic activity might lower the city’s crime rate, and he promised to soon visit Industrial Estate Rawat.
Group leader Sohail Altaf promised that the business community would give the district administration all the assistance it needed to address the city’s issues.
