Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is set to host the fourth edition of the Pindi FoodFest from December 12 to 14 at Ayub National Park.
The three-day festival aims to celebrate traditional and regional cuisine, introduce innovative flavors, and create networking and branding opportunities for SMEs, startups, and women entrepreneurs in the food sector.
RCCI President Usman Shaukat highlighted the festival’s objectives in a brief interaction with APP, emphasizing the promotion of local culinary traditions, support for small businesses, and the empowerment of women-led food ventures.
“More than 70 food stalls will showcase a wide variety of flavors and cuisines. The festival provides women entrepreneurs a platform to launch and grow their brands while building valuable industry connections,” he said.
Shaukat added that the festival is also intended to inspire aspiring women entrepreneurs. “Our goal is to create opportunities and motivate women who have yet to start their entrepreneurial journey,” he said, noting that over 15 stalls are dedicated exclusively to women, particularly those operating home-based food ventures.
Since its inception, the Pindi FoodFest has grown steadily, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from past editions. Alongside the food stalls, the festival will feature a musical evening and a kids’ carnival, ensuring entertainment for the entire family.
The RCCI President invited families, food lovers, and entrepreneurs to join this celebration of food, culture, and community.
