PIA Takes Charge of Domestic Travel for ICC Champions Trophy

Islamabad: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been entrusted with the crucial task of offering travel services to teams competing in the 2025 Champions Trophy.

A spokesperson confirmed that PIA will handle domestic travel arrangements for the teams.

The ICC Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19 in Karachi, with matches taking place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, National Stadium in Karachi, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Indian team will play their matches in Dubai as part of a hybrid model.

According to the spokesperson, PIA, in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board, has made special arrangements for the domestic arrivals and departures of international teams.

PIA will operate chartered flights for the teams’ domestic travel during the tournament, and special efforts will be made to introduce Pakistani culture to the guest teams during their flights.
