Abrar Tanoil
Jeddah: Pakistan Hajj Volunteers Group (PHVG) organized a certificate distribution ceremony for the volunteers in Makkah to acknowledge their efforts, and celebrate the spirit of service and compassion that they brought to helping the journey of pilgrims.
On the occasion, the Council General of Pakistan Khalid Majeed paid tribute to the spirit of the volunteers and their presence in the last Hajj operation. Khalid Majeed said that the volunteers of PHVG bring the good name of the country along with getting the pleasure and pleasure of “Allah Almighty”.
Khalid further said that the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah, Pakistan Embassy and Pakistan Hajj Mission offices are ready to support and encourage the Hajj group in every way. Assuring their full cooperation, he said that Pakistan Hajj Mission and Pakistan Hajj Volunteers Group will work together to provide better service to the pilgrims this year too so that the pilgrims can be guided in an efficient manner.
PHVG senior member Abrar Tanoli highlighted the activities of the group and the steps taken to serve and guide the pilgrims during the last Hajj.
He said that the volunteers of the Pakistan Hajj Volunteers Group perform the duty of Hajj services only for the pleasure and pleasure of Allah Almighty and the group is completely non-political and free from any kind of linguistic and religious divisiveness.
Dr Irfanullah Siddiqui, another senior member, underscored the importance of the ‘Zahiufur Rahman Project’, a program for the guidance and training of pilgrims organized by the Hajj Group in Makkah. Dr Irfanullah said that with the arrival of the pilgrims, the PHVG volunteers in Makkah help them in performing their Hajj ritual.
They visit the residential building of the pilgrims and guide them about the basic issues that they can face during their Hajj. Dr Siddiqui appealed to the volunteers to make full preparations for the upcoming Hajj operation.
Success Story
The Pakistan Hajj Volunteer Group (PHVG) is a volunteer service organization of Pakistani expatriates in Saudi Arabia. The volunteer group started working in Mina with around 85 volunteers in 2011 and this number kept on increasing after its successful operation and appreciation of services, especially by the Pakistani community.
The volunteer group comprises individuals from different walks of life. Since 2011, the number of volunteers has kept on increasing and has reached thousands. PHVG volunteers provide assistance and guidance to the pilgrims from the 10th to 12th of Dhul Hijjah in Mina, Azizia and Makkah Al Mukarramah.
Adhering to the KSA laws, the volunteers work under the guideline and support of the Pakistan Hajj Mission, the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah and the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh along with a local Saudi volunteer organization.
May Allah Ta’ala accept this service of all the volunteers and give them the best reward for it, Ameen
I would personally appreciate the efforts of those volunteers who spend their time serving the guests of Allah without any worldly benefit on the special occasion of Eid.
