Petrol Rs321, Diesel Rs336; Prices Remain Unchanged

Islamabad: The government has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division on Friday. Petrol will continue to be sold at Rs 321.17 per liter, while high-speed diesel will remain at Rs 335.86 per liter until further notice.
The decision follows a directive from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who recently stated that petroleum prices would not be increased despite rising global oil rates.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the move aims to reduce the burden on the common man and provide maximum relief to citizens during difficult times.
Karak Bans Sale of Petrol in Bottles, Gallons
Meanwhile, in Karak district, authorities have imposed a ban on the sale of petroleum products in bottles and gallons. A notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner under Section 144 prohibits the purchase, sale, and supply of petrol in bottles and gallons for a period of 30 days.
