Peshawar’s Vintage Car Show Draws Crowds

Peshawar: The 15th Vintage and Classic Car Show brought the magic of automotive history to life at the Peshawar Services Club on Saturday, delighting car enthusiasts and families alike.
Organized by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) in collaboration with Classic Land Rover, the event turned into a vibrant celebration of heritage, featuring not only stunning cars but also captivating cultural performances.
The car show showcased a dazzling lineup of vintage and classic vehicles, including iconic models such as Mercedes, Jaguar, Mustang, Ford, Porsche, and even vintage Vespa motorcycles, spanning eras from 1935 to 1980.
Enthusiasts from across Pakistan—Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and beyond—proudly displayed their cherished vehicles.
Adding cultural flair, traditional Khattak dance and soothing rubab music mesmerized the audience, with female participants particularly enjoying the performances.
KPCTA Director General Tashfeen Haider graced the event as Chief Guest, accompanied by Asim Durrani of Classic Land Rover and Events Manager Haseena Shaukat, among other notable personalities.
Visitors praised the event as a unique blend of history, culture, and artistry. Families turned up in large numbers, making it a memorable experience for all.
The vintage journey doesn’t end here—the participants are set to leave for Swabi to join the thrilling 12th Indus River Cross Jeep Race at Hund point on the Indus River.
From there, the convoy will embark on a grand tour through Faisalabad, Rahimyar Khan, Moro, the Thar desert, and finally Karachi, marking an epic celebration of Pakistan’s automotive legacy.
