PDMA Issues Flood Warning for Chenab River

Muzaffargarh:The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a warning regarding the rising water levels in the Chenab River, particularly at Head Marala.
Currently, the river at Head Marala is recording a water flow of 112,964 cusecs, indicating a potential risk of flooding. Additionally, 163,215 cusecs of water have been recorded at the Khanki location, with 101,726 cusecs of floodwater passing through Qadirabad.
The PDMA report describes a moderate flood situation in the Chenab River.
Local residents in areas adjacent to the river are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
