PCB Set to Announce T20 World Cup Squad Today

Islamabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to announce the team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 today (Friday). 

Babar Azam is confirmed to lead the national team in the tournament.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf, now fully fit, will be included in the World Cup squad. Shadab Khan, who was dropped after the first T20 against Ireland, will also rejoin the team.

The squad will consist of five fast bowlers, three wicket-keepers, and four all-rounders. Additionally, reports indicate that Salman Ali and Irfan Niazi will travel to United States as reserves, apart from the 15-player Pakistan squad.
