Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the rescheduling of two HBL PSL X matches due to the ongoing heatwave affecting various parts of the country.
The afternoon match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, originally set for May 1 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will now be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 3:00 PM.
As a result, Gaddafi Stadium will host a double-header on May 1, which also coincides with the public holiday (Labour Day). In the evening, the original match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators will take place at 8:00 PM.
Additionally, the last scheduled match of the Multan-leg between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on May 10 will now take place on May 11 at 8:00 PM at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
The PCB made the decision after extensive discussions with all relevant stakeholders and in consideration of the recent heatwave conditions across the country.
For fans who have purchased tickets online for the rescheduled May 1 match, the PCB confirmed that refunds will be issued to the accounts used for the purchase. However, those who bought tickets from express centres will need to visit TCS outlets to process their refunds. The board expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to fans.
Spectators can use their original tickets for the evening match on May 1 to enjoy the double-header. Additionally, those with tickets for the May 10 fixture can use them for the rescheduled match on May 11.
