PCB Floats Proposal to Hold Indian Team’s Matches in One City
News Desk
Islamabad: During the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 set to take place in Pakistan, there’s a proposal to cluster the matches of the Indian team within the same city during the initial rounds.
The intention behind this proposal is to minimize the travel requirements for the Indian team while they are in Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has forwarded a preliminary draft schedule of the Champions Trophy to the International Cricket Council (ICC), which will now seek feedback from other participating nations regarding the proposed schedule.
Notably, the tournament is scheduled to be held in February 2025 across three Pakistani cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
