PCB Accepts Gary Kirsten’s Resignation as Head Coach

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that Gary Kirsten has resigned from his position as Pakistan’s ODI and T20I head coach, effective immediately.
Kirsten, who was appointed in April 2024 for a two-year term, departed just six months into his tenure.
In light of his resignation, PCB has appointed Pakistan’s red-ball coach, Jason Gillespie, as interim head coach for the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia from November 4 to 18, where Pakistan’s men’s team will play three ODIs and three T20Is.
