Pashto Star Khushboo Shot Dead in Mysterious Attack

Peshawar: Pashto film and drama artist Khushboo was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Akbar Pura area of district Nowshera, police reported on Monday. 

Her body, found in a field with bullet wounds, was transported to Mian Rashid Memorial Hospital Pabbi for a post-mortem examination.

 The motive behind Khushboo’s murder remains unclear. Police revealed that Khushboo, originally from Swabi district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, was living in Peshawar. A case has been filed based on a complaint from Shehryar, the artist’s brother.
