Islamabad: This Eid-ul-Fitr, the Pashto film industry is set to make a strong comeback with the release of three highly anticipated films, promising audiences a captivating mix of action, drama, and music.

Renowned filmmaker and actor Arbaaz Khan, who plays a lead role in all three productions, expressed confidence in their ability to reignite interest in regional cinema. He highlighted the films’ high production quality, compelling dialogues, talented casts, picturesque locations, and soulful music as key factors that would draw audiences to theaters.

Among the upcoming releases is Dedan, directed by Qaiser Sanober. Arbaaz Khan emphasized the commercial viability of Pashto films and expressed hope that these new productions would contribute to the industry’s revival.

Two other films, Hashnaghar K Malangi, Pekhawar K Badmashi, directed by Arshad Khan, and Zoye Da Azari, directed by Shahid Usman, are also set to hit cinemas this Eid, adding to the festive celebrations.

Despite facing challenges, Pashto filmmakers and artists have shown resilience in keeping regional cinema alive, ensuring that audiences continue to enjoy quality entertainment. The release of these films marks a significant step toward revitalizing the industry and reinforcing Pashto cinema’s cultural relevance.
